Bobbi S. Low, Ph.D., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Higher Education. Dr. Low is a Professor in the Department of Natural Resources and Environment at the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences. In 1950, the University of Michigan created the School of Natural Resources, one of the
first schools of its kind. With a focus on the conservation and sustainability of the Earth’s resources, the School of Natural Resources prides itself on top tier research opportunities, teaching and outreach. Possessing over 40 years of experience, Dr. Low is an integral asset to the faculty of the School of Natural Resources. Her areas of expertise include ecology and environmental sciences, human behavior, higher education instruction, mentoring and research. When she is not teaching, Dr. Low can be found partaking in research on behavioral ecology and life history theory including how these were shaped by evolution, and how, in turn, they constrain optimal management. Dr. Low then analyzes and collects data surrounding agent-based modeling, dynamic modeling, game theory and optimization. Dr. Low graduated from the University of Texas with both her Ph.D., and Master of Arts in Evolutionary Zoology. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Louisville.
