Rev. Dr. Tarasa B. Lovick

 Rev. Dr. Tarasa B. Lovick is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Health and Wellness. Rev. Dr. Lovick is a Teacher, Speaker, Author and Founder of Taproot Healing Institute.

A seasoned health and wellness spiritual leader with a wealth of experience, Rev. Dr. Lovick is dedicated to educating and helping individuals, families and communities come together through inquiry to achieve awareness and heightened consciousness. Devoted to serving others, Rev. Dr. Lovick has taught and worked in prisons, colleges, public and private schools, and non-profits. She was the leader and administrator with the vision for starting programs in two states; one education program for pregnant and parenting teens, and the other an education program for parents whose children were born addicted to crack/cocaine.

Additionally, she served as a Family Therapist at a residential substance abuse program for youth. She also served as the director of a cutting edge program for adults who were dually diagnosed with severe disabilities so that they could learn to live with dignity. Recognized as a VIP Woman of The Year by the National Association of Professional Women, her life work is a journey of learning to honor her connectedness to all. As Thich Nhat Hanh says, “One of the greatest miracles is that we awaken from the illusion of our separateness”. Currently, she focuses on doing deep spiritual work, including shadow work with individuals and groups that desire to embody their lives purpose.

 

She offers spiritual guidance, facilitates a sacred chambers contemplative process, and continuously teaches courses and does public speaking to support individuals and communities growing in consciousness and compassion. Throughout the course of her education and training, Rev. Dr. Lovick earned her Doctor of Divinity from Spiritis Seminary and Christ University, and her Ph.D. in Holistic Theology from the American Institute Holistic Theology. She holds a Master’s of Science degree in Management and Business Administration from St. Michael’s College. Her undergraduate studies focused on Human Development and Family Studies where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont in Education and Social Services.
