Stephen Mercer

Stephen Mercer is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the Energy industry. Stephen is the Senior HR Process Consultant with Williams. Founded in 1908, Williams owns and operates midstream gathering and processing assets, interstate natural gas pipelines, and aids in the processing of oil sands off-gas and produces olefins for petrochemical feedstocks.  

In his current capacity, Stephen’s areas of expertise are process improvement, organizational development, project & program management, metrics & performance assessment, and information & knowledge management. Furthermore, Stephen holds multiple professional certifications.  He received his Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the University of California at Irvine, and is a former Certified  Information Systems Auditor in Information Technology  Project Management through the Information Systems  Auditing and Control Association (ISACA).  

 

In addition, Stephen earned a certification as a Senior  Advisor (CSA) in Senior Care from the Society for Certified Senior Advisors, as well as a certification as a Financial Planner (CFP) in Financial Planning from the College  for Financial Planning. Outside of work he enjoys reading, writing, piano, martial arts, and artwork.  In the course of his educational career, Stephen graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a double major in Art History and Psychology.  For more information, please visit www.williams.com.
