Jane Correia is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Construction as a result of her role in Correia Construction Company Ltd. Correia Construction Company Ltd. has grown from a small construction company in Bermuda to broadening the scope of countries to include Bermuda, Bahamas, Cuba, Honduras, St. Kitts, Costa Rica and Jamaica. Services offered include technical design, project management, ship repairs, towing and salvage work, and dredging; commercial and residential construction, remediation projects as well as fuel service stations for Exxon.
Correia was awarded in 2007 the “Tiger Performance Award” for best overall performance in service station construction and maintenance in 2006 in the Caribbean and Central America. In her current position, Jane is responsible for Contract Management and Negotiation and General Management of the Correia Group of Companies. In 2009, Correia was approached by Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines Inc. to redesign and construct a dock in Roatan, Honduras, to dock the world’s largest cruise ship. Dennis Correia, Jane’s husband and she were very proud that they were awarded the job following the successful bid and contract negotiation.
Mr. Correia continues to consult for Royal Caribbean. A past member of the IYRU Match Race Committee, Jane has been honored by numerous organizations. Jane was the first female Commodore of the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club which was established in 1894. She holds a Certificate of Grateful Appreciation for Leadership and Commitment in Bringing the Freedom Schooner Amistad to Bermuda, by Amistad America, Inc., as well as a Certificate of Appreciation in Recognition of Outstanding Contribution to Bermuda Hospitals.

Jane is also very community orientated having played a key role in the Montessori Educational Trust now known as The Somersfield Academy. She continues to serve on The CedarBridge Academy Board of Governors. Mrs. Correia’s philanthropic ideology has also reached out in Bermuda, and Costa Rica ensuring children at Christmas received presents. Jane works with her husband Dennis which brings a formidable combination of business acumen and legal expertise to each project. Dennis’ inherent technicalprowess and honed mastery of structural engineering are virtually without parallel.
