Board-Certified OB/GYN Dr. Phillips has led a distinguished career for over 25 years specializing in high-risk cases and laparoscopic procedures. As a specialist at Mercy Clinic OB/GYN, he has earned a laudable reputation for being well-versed in his field and providing a comfortable atmosphere for his patients. His compassionate approach involves teaching his patients to maintain good general health before, during, and after pregnancy. Alongside his primary role at Mercy, he is affiliated with Mercy Hospital Fort Smith where he has privileges to perform deliveries and surgeries.
An academic scholar, Dr. Phillips completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree. Soon thereafter, he obtained a Medical Degree at the University of Arkansas Med Science College of Medicine Little Rock. He went onto complete his Residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences-Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Remaining abreast of the latest advancements in his field, Dr. Phillips has maintained active memberships with professional organizations including the American Medical Association, and the American Medical Society. He is a Fellow of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
In his spare time, Dr. Phillips enjoys golfing and spending time with his family. Civically, he devotes his time supporting the efforts of United Way and Animal Welfare. He is also compassionate towards supporting foster children.
