As a board-certified and fellowship-trained pain management specialist, Dr. Lowry has garnered 14 years of professional excellence in his respected field. He provides the highest quality of care and a tailored multimodal treatment plan for each and every patient at

With offices throughout the state of Texas Integrated Pain Associates, the team of board-certified physicians and pain specialists provide custom treatments that address the root causes of chronic pain with the goal of reestablishing function in one’s everyday life. Alongside his clinical role, Dr. Lowry serves as a primary teaching and clinical faculty physician for the interventional
pain fellowship at Scott and White. He has been published in multiple medical journals and recently co-authored an interventional pain management textbook.
In his early academic career, Dr. Lowry received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, minoring in Biochemistry from the University of Oklahoma, as well as his Medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He went on to complete his Internship and Anesthesiology residency at Baylor, Scott, and White (Texas A&M University). Furthering his training, he completed a Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. With a commitment to excellence, Dr. Lowry is board certified in anesthesiology and interventional pain management.
Remaining abreast of the latest advancements in his field, Dr. Lowry maintains active memberships with several professional organizations including the American Society of Interventional Pain Management, Spine Intervention Society, North American Neuro Modulation Society, American Society of Anesthesiology, Texas Society of Anesthesiology, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Society, and the Bell County Medical Society. Additionally, he is a highly sought after lecturer and has been invited to speak at several different medical conferences in Texas and surrounding states on the current practices in pain management and interventional techniques.
An active member of his community, Dr. Lowry devotes his spare time volunteering with the Ascension Opioid Education Society. He also coached youth athletics and worked with the Boy Scouts in the past.
Dr. Lowry is happily married to Mrs. Kristi Lowry, his wife of 23 years. They have three children. In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and boating.
In light of this honorable recognition, Dr. Lowry dedicates this to his mentor, Timothy Bittenbinder, MD, the Chair of Anesthesia during his residency, as well as his mentor Carl Noe, MD, the Chair of the Pain Management department at the University of Texas.
