Board-Certified Family Practitioner Dr. Biron Baker has garnered over 23 years of vast knowledge and professional experience specializing in all aspects of family medicine. He has earned a reputation as a patient-preferred doctor in Burleigh County. He entered private practice in 2011 where he can practice medicine freely. His ability to connect with people is proven with his dedication to providing the highest standard of care. Throughout his professional career, Dr. Baker excelled in varying positions before establishing Baker Family Medicine. He has worked for the Indian Health Service, Medcenter One Health Systems, St. Alexius Medical Center, and several other locum positions.
A Bismarck native, Dr. Baker completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Dakota where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. His medical career began after he obtained a medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine to become a physician. Soon thereafter, he completed his training in 1998 with a residency at the University of North Dakota Center for Family Medicine in Bismarck, North Dakota. In his last year of residency, the North Dakota Academy of Family Physicians awarded him as the William F. Buckingham outstanding resident of the year. Additionally, he is a Board Certified Family Practitioner.
To stay up-to-date with the latest family medicine advancements, Dr. Baker is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practitioners (FAAFP) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. A proud member of his community, Dr. Baker sponsored a wrestling team and a basketball team that competed overseas.
