A Fellow of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Hankins is a highly distinguished, board-certified internist currently in private practice at Hankins and Associates LLC. She offers to her practice and patients a 30+ yearlong repertoire of experience and expertise in all areas of internal medicine, especially Chronic and Kidney Disease. In a constant pursuit to help people with chronic and kidney disease, Dr. Hankins is committed to providing the highest quality of care in a comfortable setting. Alongside her clinical role. Dr. Hankins serves as the Director of the ACES Veteran Museum since its discovery in 2001.
In light of her commendable academic career, Dr. Hankins completed her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Detroit. Thereafter she obtained her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in 1981, graduating in the top 10% of her class. She then went on to complete her internship in internal medicine at Hurley Medical Center, followed by her residency in internal medicine at McLaren Flint and her fellowship in pulmonary disease at Temple University. With a commitment to excellence, she also obtained a Master’s degree in Education from Chestnut Hill College and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Strayer University.
Remaining abreast of the latest advancements in her field, Dr. Hankins is an active member of the American College of Physicians.
