Violeta B. Chiong, MD

Violeta B. Chiong, MD, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Gynecologist in the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology in acknowledgment for her devotion to patient-centered care at her Private Practice.

Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dr. Chiong has led a remarkable career for more than 57 years. For the past 27 years, she has been dedicated to providing diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of conditions and serving women of all ages in private practice. She utilizes her expert knowledge and unrivaled expertise in all facets of obstetrics and gynecology including the treatment of infertility, menopausal, and postmenopausal disorders. She is well known and affiliated with Boca Raton Regional Hospital. She is also an active volunteer with the Caridad Center, the largest free clinic in Florida.

Dr. Chiong’s acclaimed medical career began in 1963 when she graduated with honors from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. After relocating to the United States, she completed an internship at the Franklin Square Hospital Center in Rossville, Maryland, and a residency at Bon Secours Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She then completed a further residency and a fellowship at the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. In light of her academic achievements, Dr. Chiong is a Fellow of the International OB/ GYN Society.

In recognition of her professional contributions, Dr. Chiong has been selected by the junior league of Boca Raton as one of its nominees for the 28th annual Women Volunteer of the Year.

Dr. Chiong dedicates this recognition to her husband of 48 years, Dr. Vicente Chiong. He is a retired surgeon who was a ship doctor for the Royal Caribbean for nine years.
