Timothy Jeider, MD, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Psychiatrist in the field of mental health as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with Nevada Mental Health.

Dr. Timothy Jeider is new to the field of Psychiatry, with one year working as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with Nevada Mental Health. Dr. Jeider works closely with his patients up to age 18 and their families treating and finding solutions to a range of mental health problems and conditions including autism spectrum disorders, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders. He continues his efforts with Clark County Children’s Mental Health Consortium using his knowledge on many factors including biological and psychological factors, to devise a treatment to end a child’s suffering.

Before accruing his extensive knowledge in Psychiatry, Dr. Jeider started his education by earning his Undergrad at Walla Walla University and quickly moved on to medical school at Loma Linda University School of Medicine earning a Medical Degree. After medical school, Dr. Jeider completed a residency in general psychiatry at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana through Louisiana State University, and for his success during his residency, he was invited for a Fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) School of Medicine.

Dr. Jeider’s philosophy is not to just prescribe medicine to his patient but to address the whole system and focus on the family and their support system, school dynamics, behavioral patterns, and taking the time to get to know the patient.

Outside of his everyday responsibilities, Dr. Jeider enjoys shooting in his free time.

Dr. Timothy Jeider dedicates his success to his mentors Sapandeep Kahurana MD, Lisa Dureep MD, Mark Zelineky MD, Lee Tines MD. 4 other Doctors in practice – some of them include Sapandeep Kahurana MD, Kevin Reyes DO, Audrey Shilander DO.
