Stephen R. Coleman, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Psychology as a Retired Psychology Educator.
Dr. Stephen R. Coleman has been working in the field of psychology for 55 years as a psychology educator teaching students in history, and aiding students in scholarly projects.
To begin his career in psychology, first Dr. Coleman attended the University of Massachusetts graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology magna cum laude in 1965. He later completed graduate coursework at Indiana University between 1965 and 1966 Dr. Coleman concluded his academic efforts at the University of Iowa earning a Master of Arts in psychology in 1970 and a Doctor of Philosophy in psychology in 1972.
Psychology is many-sided and includes many divisions of study such as areas as human development, sports, health, clinical, social behavior and cognitive processes. According to the American Psychological Association, to which Dr. Colman is affiliated, psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behavior of individuals affected. For his hard work and effort in the community, Dr. Colman volunteers his time to the American Red Cross, rescue village, and Cleveland zoo leading him to be honored as Volunteer of the Year by the Neighborhood Counseling Service.
In his free time especially during his retirement, Dr. Coleman enjoys gardening and weeding.
