Betty S. Tsai, MD, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Medicine for the accomplishments she has accumulated at Kaiser Permanente.
Offering expert ENT services at Walnut Creek Medical Center at 1515 Newell Avenue, Dr. Tsai primarily treats ear disorders. A head and neck surgeon, she treats people of all ages, including newborn and elderly patients. She is polyglot, offering services in English, Spanish, Hokkien, and Mandarin. Additionally, she has hospital privileges at Antioch Medical Center and Dublin Medical Offices and Cancer Center.
In preparation for her career, Dr. Tsai earned a Doctorate of Medicine degree at Baylor College of Medicine in 2005. She went on to complete a residency at University of California at San Francisco in 2010. Then, she completed a fellowship in neurotology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Tennessee.
A pillar in the field of otolaryngology, Dr. Tsai developed national guidelines and educational material on ear disorder treatments. She remains up to date on developments in her field, maintaining affiliations with the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. A respected voice in her area of expertise, she serves as a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Neurotology Society.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Tsai is a fan of interior design. She enjoys spending time with her parents Amy and Ingjye Tsai, husband Kim, and children Paisley and Evelyn.
