Mary Beth Beasley, MD

Mary Beth Beasley, MD, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the medical field as a Pathologist with Mount Sinai.

Pathology is the study of the causes and effects of a disease or injury. In the case of Dr. Mary Beth Beasley, her clinical focus is discovering the causes and effects of Interstitial Lung Disease, Malignant Mesothelioma and including Lung Cancer.

Dr. Beasley is board certified as both an anatomical pathologist and a clinical pathologist with Mount Sinai for 13 years. A highly-trained medical professional, she studies diseases of the human body and their effects to determine the proper diagnosis and treatment of the disease. As an Anatomical pathologist, she can study the organs and tissue more in-depth, while clinical pathologists typically work with body fluids like blood and urine to find the ailments causing the symptoms of the disease itself.

Before her extensive 22 year career, Dr. Beasley studied for her Undergrad at Wake Forest University and soon moved on to earn her Medical Degree from Tulane University. Following medical school, she completed a residency with both Duke University and returned to Tulane University. Later she was invited for a Fellowship with the Armed forces Institute of Pathology.

An active member of the International Association of Lung Cancer, and Pulmonary Pathology Society, Dr. Beasley donates her efforts and knowledge to Doctors without Borders.
