Camaryn Chrisman Robbins, MD, FACOG, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Healthcare as an OBGYN with Center for Advanced Medicine.
Dr. Camaryn Chrisman Robbins has 12 years of experience as an OBGYN first on faculty at the University of Michigan and currently at Washington University School of Medicine, treating patients at two of their St. Louis locations. As a full-time teaching clinician caring for both obstetric and gynecologic patients, Dr. Chrisman Robbins also has maintained interests in public health policy and research related to contraception, breast-feeding and HPV prevention and treatment. As the Faculty Education Director at Washington University’s School of Medicine Lactation Program, Dr. Chrisman Robbins was a leader in development of the program in 2014 earning the Provost Diversity Award for Program Development. Responsible for adding breast pumps to all new facilities, she also expanded the program from 18 spaces to 46 spaces in less than four years and the program continues to grow as the medical campus expands. Her role is critical in providing clinical support for the development and design standards for education, and communications development.
After receiving her Bachelor of Science from Duke University, Dr. Chrisman Robbins went on to earn her Master’s degree in Public Health in Epidemiology at the University of Michigan and later attended medical school at Wake Forest University for her Medical Degree. Following medical school, she returned to the University of Michigan and completed her Residency in OBGYN in 2008 and then stayed on as faculty. Dr. Chrisman Robbins moved to St Louis and Washington University in 2012 where she is now an Associate Professor at Washington University School of Medicine and a Fellow of The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Outside of her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Chrisman Robbins enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, running, skiing, as well as donating her time to Local and Community Causes.
