Pamela Karakusis, RN, CCRN is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional Member in the field of Healthcare in recognition of her role as Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Swedish Medical Center. Providing healthcare services to the Colorado area, Swedish Medical Center dedicated to the health and wellness of their patients. Amassing over four years of experience in the field of Nursing, Karakusis has gained experience in many facets of nursing including medical and surgical nursing and Neurotrauma care. A specialized critical care nurse, Karakusis was inspired to become a nurse when her father “who was as a doctor at Swedish Medical Center suffered from brain cancer and received excellent, attentive, compassionate nursing care which also extended to us as the family.” Throughout the course of her education and training, Karakusis attained both her Nursing Degree and Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, Summa Cum Laude, in 2014 from the University of Colorado, School of Nursing. Throughout the course of her career, Karakusis attained certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and as a Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse. To further her professional development, Karakusis is an affiliate of several organizations including the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, the American Heart Association, and the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses of which she is a professional member.
