Phillip Bruce Greenberg, MD is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional Member in the field of Internal Medicine in recognition of his role as Chief Medical Officer of Broward County Outpatient VA Clinic. Throughout his career, Dr. Greenberg has attained expertise within the areas of AIDS and now holds extensive experience as an internal medicine physician. Initially inspired to become a pediatrician but changed to internal medicine because he “didn’t want to see kids die,” Dr. Greenberg became one of the very few AIDS experts at Ground Zero: 1980-1984. When asked his advice to newcomers in the industry, Dr. Greenberg notes the importance of being, “consistent,” and to “keep up with the advances in the field by reading medical journals and taking courses, being collaborative, don’t be a silo and always celebrate success.” Throughout the course of his education and training, Dr. Greenberg attended the Medical College of Ohio in 1980 where he received his Medical Doctor degree conferred. Additionally, Dr. Greenberg attended the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and Internship Hospital in 1981. The Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and Residency Hospital was completed in 1984. Charitable to various organizations, Dr. Greenberg is very involved in helping kids in war torn Honduras and has sponsored six children through college.
