Mohammadreza Azadfard, MD, FAAFP

Mohammadreza Azadfard, MD, FAAFP is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Medicine for his role as an Associate Chief of Chemical Dependency at Erie County Medical Center.

With a focus on teaching, family care, and addiction, Erie County Medical Center strives to give patients quality care.

With 19 years in the profession and 7 years in his current position, Dr. Azadfard is a prolific publisher of articles. He also teaches residents and presents at schools and organizations.

Throughout his education and training, Dr. Azadfard graduated with a Doctorate in Medicine from Iran University and completed a 3-year family medicine residency at Wyoming Valley Residency (PA) where his score in residency in service exam was among the top 1% of the nation. He completed a 15 month addiction fellowship (research) at SUNY Buffalo. Dr. Azadfard is Board Certified in both family medicine and addiction medicine.

In recognition of his professional development, Dr. Azadfard has received numerous awards for teaching.

Dr. Azadfard dedicates this recognition in loving memory of his mother Forough Azadfard.

To further his professional development, Dr. Azadfard is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
