Board certified in Family Medicine with over thirteen years of experience, Dr. Barr has dedicated his professional life to delivering compassionate healthcare, improving his patient’s quality of life and ensuring optimal results. Professionally interested

in wound care and hyperbaric medicine, Dr. Barr practices with Mercy Clinic, and can provide care at Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City Inc., Mercy Hospital Logan County, Inc., Mercy Hospital El Reno, Mercy Hospital Kingfisher, and the Ou Medical Center Edmond. With a desire to “partner with his patients in life’s great journey” Dr. Barr places the physician-patient relationship above all; “it’s my aim to play a part in helping each patient reach or maintain their optimal quality of life so that each can live his or her life to the fullest”. Attributing his ability to incorporate new and innovative healthcare practices and technologies into his treatment plans as a major factor in his success, he advises newer physicians to “stay abreast of the latest medical developments while maintaining the long proven fundamentals of the field”.

Dr. Barr earned a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He completed a residency in Family Medicine with the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and has earned a fellowship with the American Professional Wound Care Association.

In his free time, Dr. Barr enjoys taking care of his newly purchased acreage in rural Oklahoma and exploring new golf courses.
