Dr. Samuel J. Brodsky MD, FAAC, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Medicine for his work as a Cardiologist at Cardiology Physicians of Fairfield County, LLC.

Dr. Brodsky has accrued over 43 years of professional experience as a cardiologist, with an expertise in cardiovascular disease. He provides non-invasive and invasive management of arrhythmias, including pacemaker implantation and the management of coronary artery disease and congestive heart failure. Dr. Brodsky greatly enjoys the field of cardiology; he likes dealing with cardiovascular issues, critical care and pacemaker implantation. He believes his key to success is, “I have good people skills and I can convey to patients their diagnosis and therapy in an informative and compassionate manner.” Some advice he would impart onto anyone looking to pursue the field is “It’s a demanding field which is intellectually, physically, and mentally draining. You must have excellent stamina and enjoy treating critically ill patients.”
Prior to embarking in his career, Dr. Brodsky earned his B.A. from Boston University in 1972; went on to pursue his M.D. degree at State University of New York Upstate Medical Center, where he graduated cum laude. He went on to complete his residency at the Boston University Medical Center, followed by his cardiology fellowship at the same institution. He is board certified in internal medicine, and cardiovascular disease.
With a rich profession in the field of cardiology, Dr. Brodsky was affiliated with the University Hospital at Boston University Medical Center as an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Attending Physician, and Associate Director of the Coronary Care Unit. He later served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Fellow of the American Heart Association and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Medical Society. He has been recognized as “Top Doctor” in Cardiology in Stamford, CT multiple years, and in 2019 recognized as “Top Doctor” in cardiology in the State of Connecticut.
