Scott G. Chudnoff, MD, MSc, FACOG

Scott G. Chudnoff, MD, MSc, FACOG, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Achiever in the field of Medicine as the Chair of the Department of OB/GYN at Stamford Health.

Dr. Chudnoff has an unwavering dedication to his patients, offering expert and caring OB/GYN services. On account of having nineteen years of experience, he is one of the leading medical professionals in obstetrics and gynecology. He specializes in minimally invasive gynecological surgery, medical technology, and women’s health.

As Chair of the Department of OB/GYN at Stamford Health, Dr. Chudnoff is responsible for the overall direction and advancement of obstetrics, gynecologic oncology, maternal/fetal medicine, and reproductive endocrinology. His dedication to the field is unmatched, refining the women’s health programs at Stamford Health and the Tully Health Center. He has devoted himself to assuring all OB/GYN patients at Stamford Health receive quality, compassionate and comprehensive care.

In recognition of academic success, Dr. Chudnoff first attended Yeshiva University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He pursued higher education at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where he received a Doctorate of medicine in 2000. He completed an internal medicine residency and obstetrics/gynecology fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. During his third-rotation, he realized the OB/GYN field was a natural fit. Shortly after he completed post-education and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology rewarded him board-certification. Afterward, he became a certified sexuality counselor by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists.

In his free time, Dr. Chudnoff enjoys spending time with his family and five children. An active man, he coaches for his children’s sports teams.

Dr. Chudnoff dedicates this recognition to his mentors, Dr. Irwin Merkatz, Dr. Mark Louie, Dr. Mark Einstein, and Dr. Gary Goldberg. He would also like to recognize his parents, Shirley and Mark Chudnoff and his wife, Rivki for their extraordinary love and continued support.
