Leticia Gutierrez, DDS, MS

Leticia Gutierrez, D.D.S., M.S., is being recognized as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Medicine as a Pediatric Dentist and Owner of My Child’s Dentist AND Your Child’s Dentist.

Renowned locally for the patience and level of care, My Child’s Dentist AND Your Child’s Dentist focuses on the examination and treatment of children from newborns to adolescents in all aspects of pediatric dentistry and the treatment of medically compromised newborns to teenagers.

Active in the field of Dentistry for the last 26 years and in Pediatric Dentistry for the last 18, Dr. Gutierrez has been published as a primary and secondary author in a variety of peer-reviewed publications.

Throughout her education and training, Dr. Gutierrez completed her dental and pediatric dental specialty training at the University of Maryland, as well as her post-doctoral training and her Master’s degree in Oral Biology in 1995 from Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Following this, she completed a teaching and research fellowship at the University of Texas Health Center. 

To further her professional development, Dr. Gutierrez is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, American College of Pediatric Dentistry, Hispanic Dental Association, Women’s Dental Association, and International Association of Dental Research. Giving back to her community, Dr. Gutierrez is charitable to organizations she works with including Cleft Strong, Run for Cancer, Children’s Home, the San Antonio Food Bank, and the Boy Scouts of America.

Outside of work, Dr. Gutierrez enjoys reading, kickboxing, running marathons, traveling, Pilates, cycling, and mini triathlons, and she is a black belt in karate.

Leticia dedicates this recognition to her parents, Julian and Rolanda Gutierrez and her children, Jackson and Gabriella Jeffords. She also dedicates this in loving memory of David Owen.
