Barbara G. Tamulewicz, DDS, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever for her outstanding contributions in the field of Dentistry for her work at her General Private Dentistry Practice.

Maintaining her private practice Dr. Tamulewicz’s is repeatedly revered as the patient preferred dentist in the New York City area. Her practice focuses on quality, comfortable care, and is widely regarded as an innovative and modern practice. Specializing in root canal therapy, crowns, bridges, veneers, implants, and various oral surgeries, Dr. Tamulewicz’s practice has been awarded the honor of being named America’s Top Dentist every year beginning in 2003.

Dr. Tamulewicz’s rotates between her private practice, Assistant Clinical Professor at New York Medical College, and working as an attending Physician at the Metropolitan Hospital. In her over 30 years of experience in this field, Dr. Tamulewicz has developed the belief that your work should embody your passions to maintain the highest level of care and ability. Compassion takes precedent for Dr. Tamulewicz when caring for her patients. 

Beginning her education in Gdansk, Poland, Dr. Tamulewicz earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical Academy, College of Dentistry in June of 1986. Understanding that success requires dedication, Dr. Tamulewicz has completed a multitude of supplemental dentistry programs in conjunction with her Doctor of Dental Medicine. She completed an advanced program in General Dentistry in 1991. Moving to the United States following the completion of her Doctor of Dental Medicine in Poland, Dr. Tamulewicz enrolled at New York University, College of Dentistry in their Advanced Standing Program for postgraduate students, completing her degree in 1995. Dr. Tamulewicz completed her General Practice Residency and Fellowship General Practice at Coler Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Tamulewicz is an active member of the dental community. She is currently involved in the Dental Records Investigations Chapter of the American Dental Association. She also maintains professional memberships for the New York State Dental Association, American Dental Association, New York Dental Society, Second District of Dental Society of NY, NY State Police Investigators Association, and the American Academy of Dental Sciences. Dr. Tamulewicz acts as a consultant in Dentistry with the National Institute of Medicine and is a standing Laureate of the American Academy of Dental Sciences. 

Dr. Tamulewicz is a recipient of several awards and honors for her work as a private practitioner and professor of dentistry. She has been recognized as one of America’s Top Dentists in 2003, The Leading Physician of The World in 2012, Patient Preferred Dentist in 2017and maintains an ongoing status of top rating.

When time is available, Dr. Tamulewicz appreciates the study of alternative medicine. She also enjoys traveling, photography and reading.
