Kelly A. Goodman, RN, ACNP is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever for her work as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at her practice, Kelly Goodman, NP and Associates, PC.  

Kelly Goodman, NP and Associates, PC is a Family Primary Care Practice offering extended open hours, allowing them to better provide services to their patients, who range from pediatric to geriatric ages.  

Beginning her career as a Board Certified Adult & Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 1996, Ms. Goodman held job positions in hospital departments like the ER, ICE, and IMCE over a period ’of thirteen years before opening her first private practice, Spring Valley Health and Wellness, in 2009. Several years later, she moved her practice to its current location and re-branded to its present-day name. Ms. Goodman opened her second location, Promenade Primary Care, in the District of Columbia in 2016. Ms. Goodman attended the Catholic University of America, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing. She received her Master’s of Science degree from Georgetown University to gain the title of Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, graduating in 2006. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Aesthetic Medical Educators Training for cosmetic procedures. She is licensed in Maryland and the District of Columbia as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.  

In addition to serving her patients, Ms. Goodman assists prospective nurses by volunteering her time in continuing education programs. She is currently affiliated with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Association.  

When she is not in the office, Ms. Goodman enjoys spending time at the beach, traveling, and with her two sons.  

Ms. Goodman would like to dedicate this recognition to her mother, Sharon Matthews, who is also an RN, as well as her mentors, Martin Paul, MD, Carlos Picone, MD, and Paul Kiernan, MD.
