Dr. Robert J. Zakoff is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Medicine in recognition of his role as a Dentist and Pain Management Specialist.
Practicing dentistry for over 55 years, Dr. Zakoff has been treating head and neck pain along with Temporalmandibular Disorders
at his private practice for over 38 years. Keeping with modern technology, Dr. Zackoff has implemented advanced imaging and diagnostic equipment including the use of Computerized Tomography at the Cranio-Facial-Cervical Imaging Center since 1990.
Throughout his education and training, Dr. Zakoff graduated from Loyola University Dental School in Chicago in 1959. Upon graduation, Dr. Zackoff entered a Dental Internship program at the University of Chicago (1963-1964). In 1963, Dr. Zackoff received his Illinois State License. Training under Dr. Janet G. Travell
M.D. and Dr. Lawrence Funt, D.D.S., Dr. Zakoff gained experience and knowledge that would carry him through his career. Devoted to his patients’ well-being, Dr. Zakoff attended the Myofacial Pain Program in 1985.
To further his professional development, Dr. Zackoff holds membership with the American Academy of Pain Management (Diplomate 1992-2013), People to People International (2011), the American Academy of CranioFacial Pain Center (AACP) in Washington, D.C. and Chicago, IL (1992), the American Equilibration Society, the American Prosthedontic Society, the American Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Society. Philanthropically minded, Dr. Zackoff is generous in his charitable donations to organizations in support of orphans, domestic violence, and veterans. Dedicated to his community,
