Nupur Ghoshal, M.D., Ph.D., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as one of the Most Trusted Names in Medicine in recognition of her role as Neurologist and Associate Professor in the Departments of Neurology and Psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

A well-regarded healthcare professional with over fifteen years of experience, Dr. Nupur Ghoshal is revered for her remarkable contributions to the medical profession. Beginning her career with Washington University School of Medicine over ten years ago, Dr. Ghoshal focused on clinical trials for Alzheimer’s disease and research on related memory loss causes and prevention. Starting out as a fellow in 2007, Dr. Ghoshal began her first job as an instructor in 2009. In addition to her research, Dr. Ghoshal teaches premedical and medical students as well as resident physicians at the university and has been recognized for her teaching efforts. In her current capacity, Dr. Ghoshal cares for patients in both hospital and outpatient settings.

A testament to her success and drive, Dr. Ghoshal has presented her work at various meetings and conferences. Throughout the course of her illustrious career, Dr. Ghoshal’s work has been showcased at the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), International Conference on Alzheimer’s Disease (ICAD), Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC), Society for Neuroscience (SFN) and the Gerontological Society of America (GSA) meetings. Board Certified in Neurology, Dr. Ghoshal is an elite member of several prominent organizations including AMA, AAN, AOA, SFN and Sigma Xi. Dr. Ghoshal was also appointed to the Residency Examination Advisory Panel for the AAN.

While pursuing her educational endeavors, Dr. Ghoshal initially began her education with an undergraduate degree in Genetics from Iowa State University. Thereafter, Dr. Ghoshal attained her Medical degree from Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University as well as a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology also at Northwestern University.

Later, Dr. Ghoshal completed her Residency in Neurology at Washington University and Barnes Jewish Hospital. During the course of her Dementia Fellowship at Washington University, Dr. Ghoshal was the recipient of the Poletsky and Kopolow Awards for exceptional dementia care and research.
