Located in Ellicott City, Maryland Dermatology & Advanced Skin Car is a dermatology office specialized in providing rejuvenating skin care approaches to their clients. Dedicated to utilizing the latest advancements in medical technology in an effort to better serve their patients, the practice offers a wide array of services to their clients including the treatment of acne, keratosis, dermatitis, eczema psoriasis, warts, rosacea, alopecia fungal infections, skin cancer and more.

Amassing over thirty eight years of experience in the field of Dermatology, Cohen is a renowned expert in the field. Among the first to graduate from the Physician Assistant program in the state of Maryland, Cohen is one of the very first physician assistants in the country to specialize in dermatology.

Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, throughout the course of her education and training, Cohen attained her education from Johns Hopkins University School of Health Sciences and Essex Community College where she became a Certified Physician Assistant.

To further her professional development, Cohen is an affiliate of several organizations including the Maryland Academy of Physician Assistants and the Maryland Association of Dermatology Physician Assistants. President of the Maryland Association of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Cohen is an active member of many other professional organizations including the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the Maryland Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Charitable to various organizations, Cohen is an active volunteer with free county service skin checks and is previous Board Member of Jewish Family Services Young Leadership.

In recognition of her professional accolades, Cohen was honored and named Physician Assistant of the Year by the Maryland Academy of Physician Assistants in 2013. Cohen was recognized by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants in 2015 as one of 223 physicians assistants nationally consistently certified for 40 years.

When she is not working, Cohen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, reading, and going to the theatre.
