Susan Sirlin

Susan Sirlin, MA, LPC is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a 2-Year Pinnacle Member in the field of Counseling in recognition of her role as Co-Founder & Executive Director of BOOST! Child & Family Services. A Mental Health Counseling facility located in the heart of Westport, Connecticut, Boost is a full-service mental health counseling center. On a mission to offer the best psychotherapy services to clients across the Connecticut region, the facility offers, “individual psychotherapy, family & group therapy, executive function coaching, speech and language therapy, parenting workshops and educational/psychological testing” in an effort to make both families and clients feel supported while developing a strong support system network. Amassing over twenty years of experience in the industry of Counseling, Sue specializes in the treatment of areas of: Behavioral Health; Crisis Intervention; Depression; Eating Disorders; Grief Counseling; Life Transitions and Self-Esteem. In addition, Sue also specializes in offering support for all lifespan issues and for any special needs such as AD/HD, ASD, sensory concerns, ODD, anxiety, depression, and other developmental challenges. Offering workshops focused on the developmental needs of children, Sue is well versed in the areas of, “addressing parenting concerns, addressing academic concerns, and treating high-risk behaviors — such as eating disorders, childhood trauma, sexual assault and substance abuse.” Throughout the course of her education and training, Sue attained her Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling from New York University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Connecticut, she also earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, French Literature and Dance from Northwestern University. To further her professional development, Sirlin is an affiliate of several organizations including ACA and the National Association of Professional Women. Boost was recently awarded “The Best of Westport” for 2016 and 2017. When she is not working, Sue enjoys dancing, reading and traveling.
