Glen Alex, LCSW, LMP is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of her role as Executive Director of the G. Alex Foundation. Established since 2009, the G. Alex Foundation was implemented in an effort to bridge the gap between the “lack of preventative screenings for Prostate Cancer, Diabetes, Hypertension and Kidney Disease.” With the health and wellness of their patients as the driving catalyst for their organization, the foundation, “believes that health is vital to a happy and productive life.” The organization focuses on assisting at-risk and low-income individuals in need of assistance in the management of their disease. Amassing over twenty five years of experience in the field of health, Alex is a renowned clinical social worker, author, massage therapist, speaker, and executive director of the G. Alex Foundation. Throughout her career, Alex has specialized in several facets of the healthcare industry including Health and wellness in the body, mind, and spirit. Holding in high esteem the integrity of her clients, Alex takes into account the muscular, and personality needs of her clients. Throughout the course of her education and training, Alex attained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies at the University of Houston and later earned her Master of Social Work degree. A renowned author, Alex has published an assortment of publications in the biannual newsletter, The Massage Advantage, for the past twelve years. In addition, Alex has been published in The Journal of Community Practice, and has recently published her own book, “Living in Total Health.” To further her professional development, Alex is an affiliate of several organizations including the National Association of Professional Women, and the US Tennis Association. Alex volunteers her time with the G. Alex Foundation, Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and The Massage Advantage. Alex dedicates this recognition to her mentor Alice Rogers, a personal leader, Speaker John P. Whyte, and in loving memory of Ethel Mayes.
