Throughout her career, Everett has specialized in health and wellness. Throughout the course of her education and training, Everett attended Duke University’s School of Nursing where she received her Post Masters Certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in 2005. In addition, she attended UNC-Greensboro, where she earned both her Master of Science degree in Nursing Administration and Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. To further her professional development, Everett is an affiliate of several organizations including holding the highly esteemed role as Nurse Practitioner at Duke Hospital Breast Clinic. Additionally, Everett is an affiliate of the American Nurses Association, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the International Society of Nurses in Genetics. Charitable to various organizations, Everett volunteers her time on the Board of Campbell County’s Historical Society. In recognition of her professional accolades, Everett was awarded Nurse Practitioner of the Year in 2016 by the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners.
