Pamela Sikes

Pamela Sikes, FNP-BC, M.S., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of her contributions to the Nursing field. Ms. Sikes’ professional title is Director – Student Health Center at the University of San Diego. She has worked in her current position for the past 13 years and brings over 30 years of total career experience to her role. “A wide range of medical services are provided by nationally board-certified and state-licensed Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants,” the center’s website states. “State licensed registered nurses and certified medical assistants also provide medical care and support. Administrative staff members assure efficient scheduling and medical record maintenance. Currently registered undergraduate, graduate, law and paralegal students who have paid the health fee are eligible for services.” Sikes “has experience in both hospital and family practice settings with emphasis in neurology, trauma, urgent care, women’s health, and eating disorders” the center’s website continues. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Point Loma Nazarene University, and then went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Critical Care Nursing – Clinical Nurse Specialist from San Diego State University. Following completion of her Master’s degree, Sikes pursued a Post-Graduate Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of California – San Diego. To further her professional development, Sikes is a member of the California Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is also the Chairperson of the Local Chapter Membership Committee. She also is a f Medical Missions volunteer in developing countries. When not working, Sikes enjoys walking, hiking, boogie boarding, crafts, audio books and traveling internationally. She has traveled to over 50 countries for sightseeing, adventure and medical missions. Additionally, Sikes enjoys spending time with her three dogs.
