Karyn Robinson, R.N., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of her contributions to the fields of both Nursing and Wellness. Robinson’s professional title is Wellness Advocate at Proactive Health with Oils — her business created through the support of doTerra Essential Oils. She has served in her position for the past four years and brings five total years of field experience, as well as expertise in long-term healthcare, to her role. “Our pure essential oils are revolutionizing the way families manage their health,” doTerra’s website states. “We harness nature’s most powerful elements and share these gifts through our global community of Wellness Advocates.” “If you have ever enjoyed the scent of a rose, you’ve experienced the aromatic qualities of essential oils,” doTerra’s website continues. “These naturally occurring, volatile aromatic compounds are found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers and other parts of plants. Essential oils provide plants with protection against environmental threats and play a role in plant pollination. In addition to their intrinsic benefits to plants and being beautifully fragrant to people, essential oils have long been used for food preparation, beauty treatment, and health-care practices.” Robinson earned her Nursing diploma from the Fletcher School of Nursing. To further her professional development, she is a member of the National Association of Professional Women. In addition to her work through her essential oils business, Robinson has published a short story about one of her former pediatric patients. She also teaches CPR certification courses. When not working, Robinson volunteers her time to the American Heart Association, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Alzheimer’s related charities and organizations. Additionally, she enjoys spending time with grandchildren, flying and writing letters and cards. Robinson dedicates this recognition to the loving memory of her first husband, Michael Anthes; her “new man” Michael Brown; and to her sister, Marilyn Maple, for all her support and inspiration.
