Teresa M. Fulton is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional Member in recognition of her contributions to the field of Healthcare. Fulton specializes in patient care, medical education, quality improvement and safety to her role as Vice President of Quality at Coordinated Care. “I was inspired to pursue a career in the healthcare sector by a long standing desire to work in the field,” Fulton said on her online biography. “I embarked on my professional journey after making the decision to answer what I felt was a calling to be a nurse and work in the medical field.” Coordinated Care, is a “managed care organization that provides healthcare services to more than 200,000 members across Washington State” and “has a commitment to improving the health of the community one individual at a time through affordable and reliable healthcare plans.” The company prides itself on its focus on the individual, whole health and local involvement. Throughout the course of her education and training, Fulton holds a Master of Nursing Science degree from Webster University and a Bachelor of Nursing Science degree. She is a Certified Healthcare Epidemiologist, a Certified Nurse Life Planner and a Certified Holistic Coach. “I felt my greatest strengths would be my leadership skills, my courteous bedside manner and my knowledge of infectious diseases,” Fulton said. To further her professional development, Fulton is a member of the Association of Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America, the International Women’s Leadership Association and is a Board Member of the American Association of University Women.
