Gretchen G. Yeo, Ph.D., is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Animal Care as a Trustee of HT Ranch/the Yeo Farms.
An expert in animal care, health, genetic selection and artificial breeding, Mrs. Yeo has dedicated over 20 years to ranching. She is a pioneer of the Method Genetics Index, a genetic selection tool that provides customized solutions to assist producers in capturing and implementing genetic values into individual breeding programs.
The Yeo Farms cow herd is a highly productive group of Gardiner Angus Ranch influenced genetics. Their herd has competed and sold in the Gardiner Angus Ranch production sales from their bull mates to the young, positioning the Yeo Farms as the premier cattle-breeder in the northeastern Ohio area. The Yeo Farms herd has been rigorously culled and replacements are selected using Method Genetics indexes.
Mrs. Yeo earned a bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College. She went on to earn both a masters and Ph.D. from Columbia University. She is a respected member of the American Angus Association and a Board Member of the Voices of Ascension. Ms. Yeo is also an active member of the Reformed Church of Bronxville New York.
In her free time, Mrs. Yeo spends her time participating in outdoor activities such as gardening and sailing.
